I have received three texts in the last two days.
These girls seem to be connected even when they are miles apart. It reminds me of the realness of our memories, especially when some days seem to just be dreams. Their words recall the laughter, the youth, the purity of a sisterhood I will always treasure.
The girls are getting married, graduating, finding jobs and opening wonderful, exciting chapters in their lives. I can't wait to tell you all about each of them and the mark they'll leave. I am so very thankful they have a few pages book marked where the story of one witty red-head reminds us all to laugh and dance and eat maple long johns, drink dr. peppers, watch scary movies, and listen to rock music.
My text today: "That song on the radio in the bathroom at work getting me a little twinkly eyed. - 'be courageous and be brave, and in my heart you always stay, forever young.' ".
We miss you always, Taylor Renee - but sometimes our hearts break again in succession.
