Tonight, UHS crowned their King and Queen for Homecoming and the kids enjoyed a great HOCO dance. The girls invite the guys (if they want) and all the kids show up in costume.
I volunteer in the bag drop. We collect grocery bags and kids can store keys, id's, wallets, etc in the grocery bags while they are dancing. Here's what I want you to know: Whether the students were dressed scantily, or whether they were dressed dark and ghoulish, or whether they were the fairest princess of them all, or a camel, or their favorite football coach - when they each approached the bag drop table they said "please" and "thank you" and smiled genuine smiles - making even the most gruesome ghoul a beautiful face. I love watching their eyes light up when they smile. All we have to do is let them see us, seeing them.
