Joy keeps coming even in the darkness. I am thankful for Union High School and the teachers that plan to invest every single day in the lives of their students, one of whom is my son.
My son came home from his second day of high school today. He found me on the back porch reading a novel, walked up behind my chair and kissed my check. The other side of my heart received his homecoming and I asked about school. He described the homework that came home today and talked about the committees on which he worked for Student Council. He started his homework on the deck with me.
Joy keeps coming even in the darkness. I am thankful for Union High School and the teachers that plan to invest every single day in the lives of their students, one of whom is my son.

Love u friend and praying for u. Everything u write or post is so special. Can't even begin to imagine your loss and how u continue to be such an inspiration to so many. I can't wait to read the blogs Josie is going to post. Taylor was truly a beautiful girl inside and out. Let me know how to follow this "new daily life". I will tell u the same thing I told my sister when my niece died at the age of 12 - I have no idea what u are going thru & can't even imagine how u keep going. Only by the grace of god and knowing that one day we will all be together in heaven again💕🙏
