She saved the costume and used it for dress up for a few years more. Taylor loved to play dress-up.
Her high school friends remember her as the Sun Drop Girl - from some random soda commercial. It's randomness and ridiculousness caught her eye. I am not crazy about the dancing in the commercial but I love the name - Sun Drop - so fitting.
It's just one of those days where I can't stomach the reality that our Sun Drop is gone. I see her pictures and just ache to kiss her forehead, to hear her sardonic humor or that deep belly laughter when she tagged you but good, or to just hold her.
I am thankful for the stronger days, for the days when I can share the joy that so-much-sunshine-per-square-inch offered. Tonight, I just want my girl.
