I remember picking up Taylor at Susan's home - the sweet sweet soul who kept her during the day. I remember the pictures of baby Bailey being carried by the OKC firefighter and I remember Joey keeping the paper and news from me as I just couldn't stomach the idea of children being killed. I couldn't stop crying.
The social media posts of remembrance took me back to that day. I was 26/27 years old. I couldn't imagine the horror of being told your baby was dead.
We will walk and run in the OKC marathon at the end of the month. My sweet aunt and uncle made us red t-shirts this year. We walk to remember - but we run to love.

My uncle,

We are called to "go light the world" and so we remember; we walk; we run; we kneel.
Thankful for a young woman's post today - "Faith is not a feeling. Faith is simply believing that God will do what he said even when it doesn't feel like it."
