She is my administrative assistant or was. She started in the position July 1 of 2014 had a total of like 15 days with me before my world came to a screeching halt. Then, she became the other side of my brain.
She is moving to Texas in a week. As a good coach's wife, she has once again packed up her home and her babies and will go and serve. So we said good-bye to her today at work. Since we work with amazing, joyful people, laughter filled our department and desserts filled our plates. I decided to just quietly enjoy the smiles, the gratefulness of our team, the stories retold.
I am not sure how you thank a person for taking on more than she should have, for looking around the corner, for listening to a sad heart, for praying and shedding tears. I should study it more, truly. For now, please know how good Keri Beth is, how her goodness beckons me to use both names, how good she was to me and for me. Pray blessings over her and her family as they move and create a new home. Know that wherever she is she will indeed #golighttheworld.
Thank you Keri Beth.
